Power Mac and Radius Pivot monitor?

Radius offers an upgrade only to the RadiusWare. If you are using
on-board video, you need SoftPivot which, I was told today, will not be
available until mid May. There is nothing helpful to you at their ftp
In North America, please call 800-544-8456 or 512-345-1145
International customers, please contact your Radius authorized reseller
in the
country of original retail purchase, or call your Radius international
sales
Radius Europe 33 1 46 92 23 45
Radius France 33 1 46 92 23 36
Radius KK 81 3 5410 2480
Radius UK 44 483772 773
Two further nuggets which might help.
- the UK number won't get you very far, because Radius have farmed out
support to another firm. They are on <UK> + 81 200 8282.
- even then, you won't get a lot of help from them if you have an Apple
upgrade card (*not* the motherboard swap, but the PDS item you will need
if, like me, you have a Q700), because
a) the 3.1 version RadiusWare driver under test doesn't recognise the
combination - looks for pure PowerPC, and complains when it can't find it,
and
b) the tech support at the number above apparently isn't aware enough about
Apple PowerPC options to recognise the existance of the upgrade card, and
gets into a tizzy trying to tell you that it isn't Radius' fault if you are
running some kind of bastard hybrid; that he doesn't know when he might be
able to tell you anything; and that if the combination were a *proper*
PowerPC, you wouldn't need a driver at all except for pivot functions.
Which is, of course, why you bought the thing in the first place.
Anyone from Radius out there who actually knows what is going on, and can
advise us? I presume that the problem is just recognising combinations of
card + Mac, because Radiusware has been able to use Q700 internal video for
ages, and the same video hardware and ram is available to the PPC card.
- and while I'm here, anyone know if it is possible, and how to adjust the
older pivots for brightness and convergence?
Thanks in advance

I have this same monitor. I have problems when trying to pivot. When trying to go portrait, it dies and I have to unplug and plug the monitor back in. Help!

That's impressive that they even found it. It's probably the oldest post I've
seen that seems to have a legitimate reply.

What's wrong with using the monitor in the portrait mode (aka I've moved it to the Lincoln street).
The monochrome is only good for writing code and even then code highlighting is something that was taken for granted in the last decade or so.
